Richard Riveire is a design professional with more than 20 years experience shaping modern hospitality and corporate interior environments. With long-time partner Lauren Rottet, he has built one of the most respected interior architecture firms in the world.
As Principal, Mr. Riveire leads the West Coast and Asia practices of Rottet Studio. He approaches projects with a deep understanding of the process of creating workplace and hospitality environments that visually reflect the culture and brand of the client. He has been responsible for a number of high profile projects including renovation of the historic Security Pacific Bank into a boutique hotel in Hollywood and two new Presidential Bungalows at the iconic Beverly Hills Hotel. His extensive corporate interiors portfolio is includes numerous award-winning projects such as The Korea Development Bank, Paul Hastings, The Annenberg Foundation, An Investment Management Firm, BMC Software Headquarters Campus and QAD Software.
Mr. Riveire has extended his unique vision to the design of award-winning furniture and products. In addition to the popular Attache’ series of casegoods for Halcon, on which he teamed with Lauren Rottet, Mr. Riveire’s product collections include the Lineal seating series for Halcon, Manele and Sterling lounge seating and table collections for Martin Brattrud, and the elegant Tableau casegoods collection for Steelcase Wood Furniture.
Mr. Riveire’s professional experience includes work with 3D/International in Houston and with both the Houston and Los Angeles offices of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. In 1990, Riveire joined Keating Mann Jernigan Rottet as a founding principal. The firm merged with Daniel, Mann, Johnson, & Mendenhall (DMJM) in 1994. In 2008, Mr. Riveire joined Lauren Rottet to form the privately-held interior architecture and design practice, Rottet Studio.
